Eagraíocht charthanach agus deonach is ea Iontaoibheas Fódhla faoi stiúr bórd de iontaoibhithe deonacha. Is é is aidhm ag an Iontaoibheas an Cultúr Gaelach a chur chun cinn idir cheol, litriocht, stair, fealsúnacht, creidimh agus gnéithe eile a bhainean leis. Is nós leis an Iontaoibheas tacaíocht do thabhairt do feachtaisí is ócaidí a threisíon an aidhm sin.
O bunaíodh iad I 1998 táid taréis tacú le deire seachtainí oideachasúla ar Fheabhalsúnacht faoi leithéidí John Moriarty is Deasún Fennel, nó Cúrsaí ceoil eaglasta le leithéid an tEasbog John Magee nó le mór ócáidí ar nós Oireachtas na Gaeilge i gCorcaigh i 2005 agus aris i 2008.
B’iad a bhí lastiar do Féile na Laoch i 2011, 2018 agus beidh 2025 agus arís den bhfeachtas le cultúr na Maoirí do threisiú trí eadarghábhail le gaeil Mhúscraighe i 2012.
Tá siad mar an príomh thacaí ag RnaG agus Peadar O Riada le Comórtas Bliantúil Bonn Ór Seán Ó Riada a reachtáiltear ar Rnag agus an idirlinn ar fuaid an domhain gach bliain. Is iad Iontaoibheas Fódhla atá ag tacú le eagrú “Droichead na nGael” atá a seoladh le cuairt an Uachtaráin Micheál D. O hUigín ar Oileán Ídhe mar ar thug sé an chéad léacht. Droichead na nGael isea iarracht chun dhá eite an Náisiúin Ghaelaigh ó Éire go hAlaba do cheangailt. B’é an bhliain 2013 an bhliain a cheiliúraigh 1450 blain ó bhuail Colm Cille cois ar an oileán bheannaithe seo an chéad lá. Bunú Órd Aegus an saothar mór idir láimhibh acu le déanaí.

Iontaoibheas Fódhla is a voluntary charitable trust with a board of voluntary trustees. The aim of the Trust is to promote the culture of the Gaelic Nation encompassing music, literature, history, philosophy, faiths and other elements of this culture.
Originally founded in 1998, they have organised philosophy weekends with the like of John Moriarty and Desmond Fennel or Church Music Weekends with the likes of Bishop John Magee. They have been the supporters of major events such as Oireachtas na Gaeilge (The National Festival of Gaelic Language) in Cork city in the years 2005 and 2008.
They back the Féile na Laoch festival ( a once every seven years event that commemorates the live and work of Seán Riada) which held in 2011, 2018 and will happen again 2025. They also backed the events of the White Cockatoos aboriginal tribe from Australia in 211 and the Maori coming to Cuil Aodha in 2012 and the strengthening of their respective cultures.
They are the regular partner with RnaG in the annual Seán O Riada Gold Medal competition which is held on RnaG and is available worldwide via the internet and open to all traditional Irish musicians everywhere world wide. They are the principle backers of the event “Droichead na nGael” which is the creation of a bridge of awareness between the two wings of the Gaelic Nation in Ireland and Scotland. This was inaugurated on the Island of Iona on the 20th July 2013 and the first lecture given by the President of Ireland Michael D O hUigín. This event marks the 1450th anniversary since the arrival there of St ColmCille.
